Immer mehr Fachkräfte und Spezialisten aus dem Ausland arbeiten in Deutschland und interkulturelle Teams gibt es mittlerweile nicht nur in multinationalen Unternehmen. Allerdings ist die Begegnung mit einem neuen Land und vor allem einer neuen Kultur nicht immer einfach. Für den Erfolg der Zusammenarbeit ist es ganz ausschlaggebend, dass die neuen Mitarbeitenden schnell "ankommen", sich im Alltag und in der Arbeitswelt einleben und sich wohl fühlen. Ein entsprechendes interkulturelles Training kann ihnen den Einstieg erleichtern und viel dazu beitragen, die hier vorhandenen Gegebenheiten zu verstehen sowie Missverständnisse vorzubeugen. Dadurch kann das gegenseitige Verständnis und die Kommunikation in der interkulturellen Situation gefördert werden. Zufriedene Mitarbeitende zeigen auch eine starke Bindung zum Unternehmen.

An increasing number of international specialists now work in Germany and intercultural teams are becoming more common, not only in multinational companies but also in SMEs. However, the first encounter with a new country and especially a new culture is not always easy. In order for the collaboration to succeed, it is crucial that the employees – and their families – settle into everyday life and adapt to the working world quickly so that they feel comfortable and at home. This is where intercultural training can make an enormous difference. Customised training workshops help the new employees and managers in achieving increased awareness and understanding for the new surroundings and interactions. This in turn can prevent misunderstandings and improve communication in the intercultural situation. On a larger scale, this can ensure talent and employee retention, as satisfied employees also show strong ties to the company.
